Here's a story from late 2018 about an adorable black-and-white kitten who was brought to the Humane Society in Silicon Valley. To everyone's shock, a monster had cut off the poor little girl's ears and part of her tail.
Luckily, the vets managed to close the wounds and they eventually healed. Frightened at the beginning, it took some time for the kitten to warm up and eventually grow close to her benefactors. The staff at the Humane Society named the kitty Karma and weren't going to give up on her.
Karma, of course, needed a foster home with lots of love and support so she could live a normal life again. Happily, all that and more was provided by her new foster mom.
Soon after she was brought home, Karma's mom noticed that hew new charge loved toys. In time, the kitten came to be completely relaxed. Her foster mom decided to make a new pair of ears for her, knit a cute pink-and-white cap with ears on the top. To her surprise, Karma loved them!
With her new pair of ears, little Karma is loving the present while looking forward to the future! After being put up adoption, Karma was placed in a new furever home in a matter of days. Of course, her new mom got her along with the replaceable set of ears.
What goes around comes around—so here's hoping that Karma and her new family get all the joy they deserve, and that karma comes for the monster who abused poor Karma when she was a defenseless kitten.
