Bill Murray once famously said that "dogs and cats, living together" was a sign of the Apocalypse. But this purrfect family of rescue animals shows it can actually be Eden on earth.
Meet Roxy, Edith, Mia, Rose, Jake, Gertrude, and Donald. Kasey Boggs and her husband—long-time animal rescuers—adopted four dogs, two ducklings, and a cat, saving them from dire circumstances. Today, the gang loves having weekend adventures and posting the pix on Instagram. We've pulled some of our faves for you here.
Meet Roxy, Edith, Mia, Rose, Jake, Gertrude and Donald – the sweetest family of seven in the world.
They were all adopted by Kasey Boggs and her husband, long-time rescuers.
The ducklings are the Boggs' latest rescues, and they're fitting right in!
Every weekend, the whole family goes on fun adventures, like hiking and camping.
Out for a walk.
Roxy, the Toy Fox Terrier, was the first family member. She was missing a hip joint.
A week later they adopted a pit bull named Nala who sadly had a heart problem and died.
To honor Nala's memory, Kasey and her hubby rescued two more Pitties—Jake and Rosie.
Jake (top) was rescued from an abusive owner, who locked him in a crate because he didn't want a dog.
Rosie (right) came from a high crime dog-fighting neighborhood, where cops would shoot pit bulls on sight.
There's also Edith, a Rat Terrier Italian Greyhound mix.
She was found by the Humane Society, abandoned in an alley, sleeping on her dead mother to keep warm.
Then there's Mia, a frisky feline from Stray Haven Cat Rescue.
And here's the whole family ready for the next adventure.
Seven is heaven…
And eight is enough: The couple is now also expecting a baby!
