A wee kitten was found on the driveway all alone, crying for help. When a Good Samaritan took her in his arms, she revealed a tiny white heart printed on her belly—saying as eloquently as her pleading meows just how desperately this little one needed love.
"My father lives in the Bronx, New York and heard meowing in our backyard. Just as he was pulling out of the driveway, there she was - a little tuft of fur! She was sitting right in the middle of our driveway," Luna Mars told Love Meow.
Despite a frantic search, the kitten's mama was nowhere in sight. "My dad took her in and called me right away."
Despite being allergic to cats, Luna didn't have the heart to send this Valentine of a kitten to a shelter. "My momma senses kicked in and I insisted on fostering her till I could find her a furever home.
"When I got her, I went right out to get formula," Luna added. "She took to the bottle well and promptly fell asleep cuddled next to the tiger you see in some of the photos."
"It almost made me cry to see her little body finally rest easy."
Clover's guardian angels found her just in time.Within only a few days, the New York weather had turned freezing cold—far too cold for a tiny kitten to survive on her own.
Not to mention that Comet, Luna's rescue dog who was already in love with Clover, would have been heartbroken to lose his heart-marked furiend!

"I'm very happy to report that her furever home is now with me and my family!
How could I not fall in love with her?! Clover was 6 days old when we found her and has adapted to life with 2 brother dogs very well."
Truly, you'd have to be made of stone not to fall in love with a kitten who wears her heart on her fur for all to see.
