Calling all Homer's Heroes!A special litter of kittens in Los Angeles are looking for their forever homes, and we need your to spread the word and help get them adopted!
These baby beauties (rejected by their breeder for being "imperfect") are all polydactyls—otherwise known as Hemingway cats—meaning they each have six toes on their front paws.
They also have curled-back ears, a standard trait in the American Curl cat breed—which some people are willing to pay a hefty price tag for, but that some lucky rescuers can now enjoy for nothing more than a regular adoption fee.

The kittens' mama—who has regular ears, but does sport extra toes just like her babies—is also looking for a forever home. With millions of cats entering the shelter system every year, we'll never understand why some people go to breeders. Our motto here in Homer's community is, "Adopt, don't shop!" You can't buy love, but you can rescue it—and if you're interested in rescuing one of these babies, get in touch with the SPCA-LA today!
