You may remember the story of Sienna the senior kitty, brought to a New Jersey shelter last summer after her human passed away. At 13 years of age, the odds were against Sienna's finding a new forever home. But Sienna had one ace in the hole: She was purrfectly irresistible!
Photos of Sienna pawing for attention at the window of her living suite at Tabby's Place (a no-kill shelter in Ringoes, NJ) went viral last summer. So did video of the adorable "love me!" dance Sienna did for everyone who walked by. Even though she was an older kitty, she still had so much love to give—and it showed! One kind rescuer saw Sienna's pictures and fell in love, and today Sienna (re-named Chloe) has a loving forever home. I'm proud to be Homer's mom, and equally proud to serve on the Advisory Board of Tabby's Place, where happily-ever-afters happen every day!
