This tiny kitten has the heart of a lion and an amazing fighting spirit! She was only a week old when she was found by North Brooklyn Cats in desperate shape.
The kitten, named Aveline, had been covered in glue by a group of abusive children. Fortunately, she was saved from their clutches by Good Samaritan Lisa Vallez. After being cleaned and bathed, Aveline was then delivered to North Brooklyn Cats by Vallez for further treatment.
"She was covered in sticky glue," explains a social media update from the organization. "Some [glue] had been cleaned or shaved off when she arrived, but she's still a mess! Let's hope a good appetite and a fighting spirit get her through this!"
A good appetite, indeed! Just look at the way tiny Aveline tackled her milk bottle!
Once all the glue had been removed, utilizing a combination shave-and-soak method involving Dawn and mineral oil, Aveline's beautiful soft fur was revealed.
Today, fully recovered from her ordeal, Aveline is a happy and healthy girl, being spoiled to pieces in her purrfect forever home.
And you can see the joy written all over her face!
